Dear Wildcat Families,
Welcome back to another exciting year at Homestead-Wakefield Elementary School! We extend a hearty welcome to all of our new families whether it be due to redistricting, transferring, relocating, etc. You are now Wildcats!!
The PTA’s mission is to be a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for all families and communities and a strong advocate for education and the well-being of every child.
The HWES PTA Board and all of its Committee’s have been working extremely hard at planning and organizing fun-filled, family activities and events. Please join us for Family Fun Nights, Family Food Nights, Reflections (October), Walk-A-Thon (October), Book Fair (March), Vera Bradley Bingo (March) Spring Fling (May)…to name just a few!! We appreciate the hundreds of volunteers and the extraordinary support of our families that make all of the events happen. The PTA continually strives to create a positive, safe and FUN environment for our children!
Be sure to be a voice for your child. Join us at our monthly PTA meetings. We seek and value the input from our families…together, we all form ONE UNIFIED TEAM! We will be meeting on the third Tuesday of each month (with the exception of December) at 7:00 p.m. (6:30 p.m. if we have a guest speaker) in the Homestead Media Center. Pizza and sodas are served at each meeting, Stevenson interns are on hand to work with the HWES students so families can attend the meetings and a $25 raffle for a local restaurant is drawn at each meeting!!!
